Lots of people in our community are observing Earth Day at home, and there’s lots to do! Here are some ideas that specifically work for remote learners, teachers, and others in the DA community.

Follow news of President Biden’s Climate Summit with world leaders; talk to people about it

Take a hike (recommendations from Allison Hall ’24, Alex Copsey ’24, Kathryn Linney ’24, and Sarah Penry ’24

Participate in the local Bioblitz (in Durham or wherever you live):

  • Download the iNaturalist app and follow the instructions to learn to use it
  • Post some observations
  • Share your iNaturalist handle with me so that I can see your work
